CERTIFICATIONS:
1). Wilderness First Aid good for 3 years.
2). Adult and Child CPR good for 3 years.
COST:
$330 per participant. This includes the course, the two certifications listed above, all course supplies/materials and a comprehensive waterproof Wilderness Medicine Handbook to keep.

Class size limited to 18 participants. Don't delay as HI classes tend to fill.
CURRICULUM:
This is a 3-day intensive training from the Wilderness Medicine Training Center (WMTC). Appropriate for all levels of experience (no previous training required—we find that everyone from ER doctors to hikers finds this course worthwhile). A majority of course time will be spent in hands-on learning through labs and simulations.

Outside Medicine courses are known to be mentally stimulating, physically challenging, rigorous--and fun! You can expect days filled with lots of new information and activities that build upon previous days.
RECERTIFICATION INFORMATION:
This course may be used to recertify WFR or WEMT. Your WFR/WEMT must be current or in the grace period from an approved provider. There is an additional requirement of passing an online Recertification Test. Testing fee of $25 may be paid during the course by cash or credit card.
