COVID-19 and Training Safety

Outside Medicine's  COVID-19 safety precautions include:

• Everything outdoors....

• Courses held in outdoor classroom setting (pavilion or pop up tents).

• Outdoor practice simulations.

• Adherence to current CDC guidelines.

• Each student will be issued their own CPR “pocket mask” that will be used exclusively on the face of that individual when simulating CPR.

• Crews that work together train together.

• Emphasis on personal responsibility of participants: this includes non-attendance for any symptoms, using face coverings, following guidelines.
