CERTIFICATIONS:
1). Wilderness First Aid good for 3 years.
2). Adult and Child CPR good for 3 years.
COST:
$330 per participant. This includes the intensive weekend course, the two certifications listed above, all lab supplies & materials, and a waterproof Field Handbook.

CURRICULUM:
This is a 2-day intensive training from Outside Medicine. Appropriate for all levels of experience (we find that everyone from ER doctors to day-hikers finds this course worthwhile). A majority of course time will be spent in hands-on learning through labs and simulations.

(This is the 3-day syllabus. The 2-day version is an "intensive" & is modified slightly but covers the same topics).
Outside Medicine courses are known to be mentally stimulating, physically challenging, rigorous--and fun! You can expect days filled with lots of new information and activities that build upon previous days. You will need to come well rested and ready to learn.
RECERTIFICATION INFORMATION:
This course may be used to recertify WFR or WEMT. Your WFR/WEMT must be current or in the grace period from an approved provider. There is an additional requirement of passing an online Recertification Test. Testing fee of $25 may be paid during the course by cash or credit card.
